Holiday Season Celebration

Spreading the Spirit of the Season!

The Holiday Season Celebration, present by Pepsi-QTG Canada, provides children and youth in the care of the Children's Aid Society with the opportunity to share in the spirit of the season. Every December, the Children's Aid Foundation throws a holiday party for the 1,000 foster children in Toronto who wouldn't otherwise have a chance to celebrate. From morning until mid-afternoon, the children and their foster families enjoy a wonderful day of entertainment, excitement and fun!

2007 Holiday Season Celebration

The holidays are an especially difficult time for families in need but on Sunday, December 9, 2007, the Children’s Aid Foundation celebrated with some of Toronto’s most disadvantaged children and their foster families. For many of them, the Holiday Season Celebration was their only holiday event.

The morning consisted of a movie screening of "Shrek the Third" followed by a buffet lunch and an afternoon of activities including cookie-decorating, face-painting, arts and crafts and a dance party. Santa made a surprise appearance posing for photos with many children and every child left with a wrapped gift of their own. So many treats, so little time!

The Holiday Season Celebration would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and donors who continually demonstrate their commitment. The Children's Aid Foundation would like to thank Pepsi-QTG Canada, Loblaw Companies Ltd., Proctor & Gamble, Matel and Weston Bakeries for their support of this wonderful event.
