ABOUT US
Since 1979, the Children’s Aid Foundation has been making a difference in the lives of children by raising funds and supporting initiatives committed to improving the lives of abused, neglected and at risk children and youth. As a registered charity, the Foundation raises funds to implement programs that give these children and youth the skills and support they need to reach their full potential.
The Children’s Aid Foundation works to fund and support initiatives and programs that focus on:

With a passionate and generous network of individuals and organizations who share and support our vision through donations, fundraising events, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, and volunteer efforts, the Children’s Aid Foundation has allocated millions of dollars to helping make a difference in the lives of children.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Without programs to restore their physical and mental health, many abused and neglected children ultimately replicate their own experiences. The Foundation believes that providing help and support where it is needed today prevents far more serious problems from arising in the future.
Our investments are made with a strategic focus on the impact of those children who need it most. Prevention programs funded by the Children’s Aid Foundation help to break the cycle of abuse and neglect by providing support to at risk families before the cycle can be replicated. Enrichment programs provide recreational and cultural opportunities so that disadvantaged children and youth can experience healthy development while education programs supported by the Foundation give children and youth a chance to get back on track to build productive and successful lives for themselves.
With a separate endowment that covers the administrative expenses, the Children’s Aid Foundation is in the unique position of being able to guarantee that 100% of all donations are directed to programming for children and youth in need. By maximizing our return on investment, donors can be assured that their donations have an immediate and long-lasting impact.
