Community Partnerships

The Carpenter’s Union has a longstanding relationship with the Children's Aid Foundation dating back to 2002. Once again this year, they have chosen the CAF to benefit from their annual Golf Tournament. Last year $41,000 was raised from this initiative and we are excited for another round of golf to take place on May 26th, 2008.

Since 1996 BOMA Toronto has continued to show their support for the children and youth served by the Children's Aid Foundation. Last year alone, they raised over $16,000 for the CAF through a series annual fundraising events. They are strong supporters of our scholarship program and continue to be dedicated to breaking the cycle of abuse through education.

TELUS has been a long time supporter of the Children’s Aid Foundation. This past holiday season, the CAF was fortunate to have been chosen as one of the charities benefiting from the TELUS "Critters" campaign. Proceeds from the sale of these stuffed animals were donated in the amount of $15,000 to our programs and Telus donated an additional $5,000 of their own.

This year, Ipsos Canada and its employees became involved with the Children's Aid Foundation by raising $8,000 and creating awareness through a series of fundraising activities carried out to benefit their charities of choice. We look forward to their continued support in the future.

CELSK PROMOTIONS

The Children's Aid Foundation is pleased to announce a new partnership with Celsk Promotions. They have generously agreed to donate 10% of the proceeds from their national tour of family shows to the CAF over the next year. These funds will be directed back to the communities in which each show takes place.

Since 2004, CNW Group and Equicom Group have been great supporters of the Children's Aid Foundation. It is with great pleasure that the CAF would like to thank them for naming us as the beneficiary for their upcoming 2008 Golf Classic. CNW Group & Equicom Group have officially stated their fundraising goal in excess of $40,000 for the event. On August 19th, 2008 the Children’s Aid Foundation looks forward to another “Hole in one” with these generous partners.

The Corsage Project was founded in 1999 and has been working in partnership with the Children's Aid Foundation since 2003. The founders aim to provide formal gowns and accessories, free of charge, to Toronto-area high school girls who are unable to purchase their own prom attire. Last spring, The Corsage Project outfitted more than 200 girls for prom night and hopes to assist the same number of students this year on May 4th, 2008 at their "Boutique Ball".
