Community Partnerships

The Carpenter’s Union has a longstanding relationship with the Children's Aid Foundation dating back to 2002. Once again this year, they have chosen the CAF to benefit from their annual Golf Tournament. Last year $41,000 was raised from this initiative and we are excited for another round of golf to take place on May 26th, 2008.

Since 1996 BOMA Toronto has continued to show their support for the children and youth served by the Children's Aid Foundation. Last year alone, they raised over $16,000 for the CAF through a series annual fundraising events. They are strong supporters of our scholarship program and continue to be dedicated to breaking the cycle of abuse through education.

The Corsage Project was founded in 1999 and has been working in partnership with the Children's Aid Foundation since 2003. The founders aim to provide formal gowns and accessories, free of charge, to Toronto-area high school girls who are unable to purchase their own prom attire. Last spring, The Corsage Project outfitted more than 200 girls for prom night and hopes to assist the same number of students this year on May 3, 2009 at their Boutique Ball.
