Thank you for your interest in this year’s Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada Bursary Award

Applications are now closed for 2017/18 Bursaries.

Children’s Aid Foundation has had a record number of applications for scholarships and bursaries this year. We are motivated by students’ interest and desire to fulfill their academic goals, and we are committed to helping as much as we are able.

If you have been awarded a scholarship, you will have been notified by Children’s Aid Foundation. Bursary recipients were notified by July 31, 2017

At this time, we are unable to fulfill all requests. Bursaries are one important part of our overall Post-Secondary Education Program and we continue to reach out to our donors and supporters and hope that we’ll be able to fulfill more requests in the near future.

Graduating? High fives! We offer awards of $500 per year (of full-time studies or the equivalent) of your program to youth from care who have received post-secondary supports from the Foundation and are under the age of 30 for the awesome achievement of completing their studies. So if you completed a 3-year diploma, you could receive $1,500! We review applications every June and we’ll need a completed application, proof of graduation (like a transcript) and a thank-you letter.

We accept these applications throughout the year, review all applications in June and distribute awards in September.
