Get your kids involved

Without the help and support of those in the community, the Children’s Aid Foundation would not be able to raise the funds that are so vital to ensuring that the children and youth we support receive the tools and skills they need to succeed in life. As the future of our communities, your children can help our children both now and in the future.

These are some ways that your children can make a difference in the lives of their peers:

  • Ask guests to make a donation to the Foundation rather than bring a present to a birthday party.

  • Support a family for Surrogate Santa by providing Christmas gifts from their wish list. For more information, click here.

  • Organize a fundraising event at school. For more information please contact Rebecca Llewellyn at 416-923-0924 x235 or rllewellyn@cafdn.org.

  • Send Children’s Aid Foundation cards with well wishes and happy messages to friends and family. Click here for more information.

  • Put aside a portion of allowance to go to charity.

  • Talk to your children about the importance of helping others. This is the building block to helping foster the idea that we should help each other.
