TORONTO, Nov. 4 /CNW/ - What would you say if you were told that buying a teddy bear could make a difference in the life of a child? By purchasing a JJ Bear from participating RONA retailers, with 100% of funds raised going to the Children's Aid Foundation, you will be giving hope to abused, neglected and at risk children and youth across the country while taking home a cute and cuddly reminder of the contribution you made.

"The JJ Bear campaign is more than raising funds for the Children's Aid Foundation programs and the children and youth we help," said Ann Barnard Ball, Executive Director, Children's Aid Foundation. "The bear represents comfort, support and security, which all children should have in their lives."

JJ Bears go on sale November 1st at participating retailers and will be available until December 31st or until they sell out! RONA stores are also accepting donations on behalf of the Foundation to go towards prevention, enrichment and education programs in the local community.

For the second year in a row, the Children's Aid Foundation is thrilled to be working in partnership with RONA on the Ontario wide JJ Bear campaign. Long time supporter, Blade Creative Branding, designed the creative concept and Z103.5 and Jewel stations, with the support of Evanov Communications, are back as dedicated media sponsors with eight RONA on-site live remote events. To get in on the JJ Bear action with the live radio remote street team, check out dates and locations at www.cafdn.org.
