On June 29th, 25 celebrity athletes took part in a day of golf and fundraising for the Children’s Aid Foundation with top names such as Charles Barkley, Dean Blundell, Ray Bourque, Johnny Bower, Julius Erving, Gordie Howe, Bo Jackson, Jonathan Ogden, Devon White, and of course Joe Carter. The day of play included celebrity introductions and a shoot out, scramble format with on course contests. The evening was a night of fun and additional fundraising through a significant Silent Auction and a Live Auction hosted by Joe Carter himself. One of the highlights included a youth who spoke to the players to share his experiences and his own inspirations. Guests were invited to an after party at the Windsor Arms sponsored by TD Bank Group and an intimate performance by John Legend.



The day was supported by presenting sponsors TD Bank Group and Blackberry with a generous group of returning sponsors including Callaway, Labatt, CTV, CP24, Toronto Star, Quagmire Golf, Lug and Aeroplan.

More than $150,000 was raised for the Children's Aid Foundation and we are thrilled and grateful for the continued partnership of co-chairs Joe Carter and James Dodds, Associate Vice President Office of the Deputy Chair from TD Bank Group. Since Joe Carter's involvement with the Children's Aid Foundation over $285,000 has been raised to assist the children and youth we support.
