Johnny Reid will be raising funds and awareness for the Children's Aid Foundation on his new tour
|
The Children’s Aid
Foundation is honoured to announce our new partnership with multi-platinum,
Juno award nominee, and 13 time CCMA award winner, Johnny Reid.
With the announcement of his
new tour, A Place Called Love, Johnny Reid will be heading out to play
over 40 shows across the country while simultaneously raising funds and
awareness for abused and neglected children and youth. As a dedicated family
man and father of four, Johnny has teamed up with the Foundation to sell his
very own custom teddy bear which will be available for purchase at all live
shows during his Canadian tour, with 100% of all proceeds from the sale of the
bears going to help children and youth in need.
During his Canadian Tour,
Johnny’s trailer will be outfitted in the Foundation’s logos and images, so
keep an eye out as it will be crossing the country twice! Visit www.johnnyreid.com
to find out more about tour dates and locations or check out our event calendar
online.
In addition to selling
bears, Johnny is currently in the process of recording a lullaby CD, which will
be comprised of 11 instrumental versions of Johnny’s biggest hits over the last few years. Proceeds from the sale of this CD will also go to the Children’s Aid
Foundation. The CD will be available
during his Canadian tour and through both the Children’s Aid Foundation’s
website (www.cafdn.org) and Johnny Reid’s website (www.johnnyreid.com). CDs can be purchased online from September
to December 2010.
The Children’s Aid
Foundation is excited about our partnership with Johnny Reid and we look
forward to listening to his lullabyes!
