The Children’s Aid Foundation is looking for participants to join “Team CAF” for the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Anyone can participate on October 16th, 2011! You can choose from a 5km run/walk, half marathon or marathon and help raise funds for children in need.

As a charity that supports child welfare groups, we work with many agencies and programs across Canada. All of our partners have the goal of raising awareness and funds for underprivileged youth and children. Some of our partners include the Children’s Aid Societies of Toronto and York Region, the Children’s Aid Foundations of Peel, and Durham, the Corsage Project, and Native Child and Family Services. Ultimately, we hope to end the vicious cycle of abuse and neglect many youths and children face today.

Sign-up for the marathon and fundraise for the Children's Aid Foundation. Make each step you take a step for Canada's abused and neglected children and youth.

REASONS TO RUN FOR THE FOUNDATION:
  • Over 300,000 Canadian children and youth are abused and neglected each year
  • 100% of all donations go directly to program funding for children in need
  • FREE registration fee if you fundraise over $250 dollars
  • FREE Team CAF tech t-shirt
  • FREE Teddy Bear for each registration
  • FREE online training clinics and newsletters
  • Prizes for fundraisers
  • Tax receipts for donations $10 and up
