About the Program

The Secret Santa program provides donors with an engaging and fun way to help families and youth in the GTA during the holiday season.

Families

The children served by our partner agencies come from families where abuse, neglect, poverty, violence, homelessness and substance abuse are a part of their daily lives. The harsh reality of these circumstances hits harder at certain times of the year, and no more so than during the holiday season. For families who struggle to meet their day-to-day needs, the holidays often bring an added stress to provide their children with food and gifts.

Youth Living Independently

Youth Living Independently includes young men and women from the ages of 15-24 who are transitioning away from the care of child welfare agencies like the Children’s Aid and are setting out on their own with little financial, family or social support. The holidays can be a very isolating and disheartening time of year for these youth. As a Secret Santa, you can help make a youth’s holidays bright by showing that someone cares.

In 2010, our donors helped raise over $206,000 and helped 1,657 people have a wonderful holiday through the Secret Santa program. With your help as a Secret Santa we can make 2011 another happy holiday for families and youth in need.
