What We Do

Prevention, Enrichment & Education

The Children’s Aid Foundation is committed to funding programs that improve the lives of abused, neglected and high-risk children and youth. To this end, the Foundation works with child welfare organizations across the country to deliver innovative programs that support three critical areas: Prevention, Enrichment & Education.

This three-pronged approach enables the Foundation to meet the immediate and urgent needs of high-risk children and youth and also positions us to have a longer lasting impact on our communities.  As the Foundation continues to grow, it is our expectation that the number of children and youth who benefit from these programs will increase exponentially.

Our PREVENTION programs help to break the cycle of abuse and neglect by providing support to high-risk families before the cycle can be replicated.

Our  ENRICHMENT programs provide recreational and cultural opportunities so that disadvantaged children and youth can experience healthy development.

Our EDUCATION programs give children a chance to pursue their dreams and get on track to build productive and successful lives for themselves.
