On Wednesday, December 4th, join CIBC in support of Miracle Day and the Children’s Aid Foundation. With over $69 million raised for children’s charities across Canada and $219 million globally, Miracle Day has been supporting kids in need since 1984.

The Foundation has been a grateful recipient of funds raised through Miracle Day donations, which generously consist of the commissions and fees of wholesale banking employees and various CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors.

This year, CIBC will take to the twitterverse in a commitment to donate $1 for each Miracle Day retweet on December 4th. That means by simply spreading the Miracle Day message online, you can donate to programs that serve our most vulnerable children and young people.

“At CIBC, we believe in investing in the lives of children to prepare them for the future,” says Richard Nesbitt, COO of CIBC. “That’s why we created the CIBC Miracle Fund, which has allowed over 9,000 children to engage in life enriching opportunities and experiences such as music classes, sports, and school trips.”

Joe Canavan, chairman and interim CEO of the Children’s Aid Foundation, adds: “For most children this is a season of joy and celebration; however, there are thousands of children across Canada who have suffered abuse and neglect for who this season brings sadness and anxiety. Through the generosity of CIBC and its partners we have been able to grant miracles to children, helping to rebuild their self-esteem and transform their lives.”

Thank you to all of our Miracle Day supporters at CIBC. With your support we can continue to help children rebuild their lives and brighten their futures.
