WHEN: May 14th – Noon to 5 pm

The Children’s Aid Foundation is asking the public to join us in celebrating the strength, bravery and resiliency of children and youth in care who have overcome tremendous adversities to lead meaningful lives.

On May 14, starting at noon until 5 pm, the Children’s Aid Foundation will send out a message and video every 14 minutes from young people who have grown up in care. Help us raise awareness and reduce the stigma around children and young people in care by sharing their messages and videos. We want to give these kids a voice to talk about their struggles, accomplishments and what matters to them. Most often, they are invisible to the public. They deserve to be heard and you can help.

Helping is easy, when we send a new message and video every 14 minutes, please post it on your Facebook and Twitter pages and share it with 5 new friends each time and encourage them to do the same. Go a step further and make an online donation of $14.00, which will be used towards funding the needs of Ontario’s most vulnerable kids through programs in the areas of prevention, enrichment, education and healing and recovery.
