On Miracle Day — Wednesday, December 3 — you can invest in a vulnerable child’s future when you invest with CIBC.

Since 1984, CIBC has dedicated one day each year — “Miracle Day” — to supporting children’s charities through business. As an employee-driven initiative, CIBC’s wholesale banking employees and CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors donate their fees and commissions to help kids connected with various charities, including the Children’s Aid Foundation. Since the beginning, CIBC Miracle Day has raised nearly $74 million for children’s charities across Canada and $223 million globally.

Erine, one of the Foundation’s Miracle recipients, first became involved with the Children’s Aid Society at the age of seven due to domestic abuse at home. “I was put into art therapy, I was put into different summer camps, I was put into various extracurricular activities,” she says, adding that these experiences helped her develop new skills.

“Whether it’s financial, whether it’s emotional support, whether it’s just a helping hand or someone to talk to, I think that’s what the CIBC Miracle Fund represents. Even though it’s a monetary donation, it still allowed me to have all these opportunities.”

By trading with CIBC on Miracle Day, you can help support kids like Erine in building brighter futures. Learn more by watching the video above.
